*Sunday afternoon session
Elder Clate W. Mask Jr. spoke about how all can overcome sin and stand clean before Heavenly Father at the last day.
Elder Mask related the journey through life to traveling down a road filled with mudslides. While one may overcame the mudslides, they will still be spotted with mud.
"As we slosh through the mudslides of life, we cannot help getting a few mud spots on the way," Elder Mask said. At the end of the journey, "we do not want to be spotted before the Lord."
He quoted scriptures saying that no one can be saved without their garments being washed white. In order to be cleansed before we stand before the Lord in the last days, we must rely upon the atonement.
"As we cross through the mudslides of life, can we say if we died right now that our garments are clean?" Elder Mask asked.
He encouraged church members to cry unto Lord that they can be found spotless at the last day through the cleansing power of the blood of the lamb.
Elder Mask said one does not need to be attractive to be saved of God, one only needs to be pure. One needs to just keep the commandments and do all they can do to live righteously.
He admonished all to ask the Lord to forgive them of their mud spots that they may stand clean before him at the last day.
