Elder Dennis E. Simmons addressed the importance of keeping faith throughout challenging times.

"Faith is total trust in him, faith is even though we do not know all things, he does, and faith consists of complete reliance on him," he said.

Elder Simmons said the Earth is a testing place for men and women and is part of a greater plan.

"He tests us by allowing us to be challenged and great challenges make great men," he said.

The Lord will strengthen us if we respond to challenges and trials in faith, he said.

"Men accomplish great things by practicing great faith and keeping the commandments for without sufferings they cannot be made perfect," Elder Simmons said.

By combining faith and the Lord's grace, men and women can find their way.

"In His time and in His way, we will be delivered and receive all that he has," he said.

Elder Simmons concluded by saying, "He expects us to do all we can do, and He does the rest."
