President Boyd K. Packer encouraged mothers and fathers to put their homes in order to protect against the declining morals and values in the world.

"One thing is for certain: the safest place and the best protection against the moral and spiritual diseases is a stable home and family," Elder Packer said. "This has always been true and will be true forever. We must keep that foremost in our minds."

Elder Packer also urged parents to take courage in raising children in this age.

"Do not be afraid to bring children into the world," he said. "We are under covenant to provide physical bodies so that spirits may enter mortality. Children are the future of the restored Church."

Elder Packer gave several ways to immunize children against spiritual diseases.

"A knowledge of the restored gospel and a testimony of Jesus Christ can

spiritually immunize your children," he said. "The church is a safe harbor."
