Elder Henry B. Eyring encouraged faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to turn to the great plan of salvation as they face adversities and trials in life.

"We have trials to face because our Heavenly Father love us," said Elder Eyring. "They give us the opportunity to prove ourselves worthy."

Elder Eyring encouraged church members to endure to the end and to keep the commandments regardless of the opposition they encounter.

"The test of the loving God is to see if we can endure it well," said Elder Eyring. "What is being tested is the same at all times in our lives and for every person. Will we do whatsoever the Lord God commands us? We have to go to God. He gives us the commandments and we will need His strength to keep them."

As members of the church respond to the call of the master and as they endure to the end, they will receive strength, Elder Eyring said.

"The promise is sure," said Elder Eyring. "The power of the Holy Ghost is real. It will come again and again. And the overriding truth it will testify to is that Jesus is the Christ."
