The BYU Women's Conference expects to bring 18,000 women to campus Thursday and Friday.
This year's conference will focus on Jesus Christ as the Redeemer, drawing it's message from Helaman 5:12:
"Remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation ... whereon if men build they cannot fall."
The conference will begin with an opening session Thursday morning at 9. President and Sister Merrill J. Bateman will be speaking at that session.
A rehearsal for the choir that will sing at that session will take place that morning at 6:30.
Concurrent sessions for women to attend on various topics will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Thursday afternoon general session will be held at 3:30 p.m.
The fourth annual Evening of Service and Good Works will take place Thursday night from 5:30 to 9.
Friday's morning general session will take place at 9 a.m., and will be followed by concurrent sessions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Elder Maxwell will speak at the conference's closing session, which will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
