Elder Gerald N. Lund of the Quorum of the Seventy spoke of his new call to serve in the Quorum of the Seventy.

He said he is grateful for the privilege to serve and that he rejoices "in the Lord in this new opportunity," he said.

He said, "I've come to know that Jesus is our Christ...the Father's mercies are infinite and never-ending."
