Elder M. Russell Ballard centered on peace during his Sunday afternoon Conference talk.

After speaking briefly of the apostles, Elder Ballard compared the search for peace back then to the search now, saying, "Like those who were alive, there are some among us who look for physical peace and signs of prosperity as signs of His power."

He quoted President Hinckley saying, "There is no peace in sin."

He then emphasized that only complete repentence brings peace from sin, and that it only comes to us as we follow the light of Christ.

He reiterated this by saying when proper principles are applied, peace can come.

Elder Ballard proceeded to bring it into a larger scale, saying that in every home, neighborhood and community we ought to strive for peace.

Also, that we are responsible for sharing the knowledge of peace with friends, families and commuities.

He concluded by saying that the message of peace will grow and expand through our example to others of our association.
