The Provo headquarters for the Red Cross are located close to BYU, on Freedom Blvd.

Come help out the Red Cross at your local chapter, located in Provo. "Your local Red Cross can work with you to provide rewarding experiences, opportunities to utilize your talents, or provide training to help you serve your community" (www.redcross.org).

The Red Cross not only helps people in emergencies, but also provides half the nation's blood supply, organizes CPR and first aid classes, delivers emergency messages to members of the military, and plans service opportunities for youth and the elderly.

Volunteers with the Red Cross work in several different capacities. "[They] work directly with people, serve on boards of directors, serve as managers, advisors, and provide behind the scenes support." (www.redcross.org).
