Synopsis: SCERA's version of the musical "She Loves Me" is based on the 1963 Broadway play about two bickering co-workers who fall in love as anonymous pen pals. Widely considered one of the most charming musicals ever written, the story inspired similar films such as, "The Shop Around the Corner" with Jimmy Stewart and "In the Good Old Summertime" with Judy Garland and the recent hit, "You've got mail." Director Jerry Elison has taken the original 1930's European setting and updated SCERA's production to take place in modern day New York City where Georg and Amalia unwittingly meet through a singles service on the Internet.
